How do you measure success?

Have you ever
wondered... what does it take to be successful?
Well, I have given it a lot of thought,
and here is what I've come up with.
First, I found several definitions of success.
One definition stated success as a favorable or desired outcome. |

Another defined success is a degree or measure of
succeeding and still another stated success was the
attainment of wealth, favor or eminence.
| As I look back over my career I have, at one time or another, found one of these
definitions of success and, at times, found all of them at once. But as I
climbed the corporate latter and gained experience and |

am looking for men and
woman to put their "sweat
equity" to work
for them.
Together we can change our

| knowledge, I have come to the conclusion that these definitions are
not applicable to a successful professional
banking career. |
In truth, I believe to have a successful career,
in any profession, is to have a strong
mental attitude. And
if you possess a grand attitude that no matter what the odds, no matter how long it may
take, no matter the difficulty, nothing will stop you from achieving your
goal. Then once you've reached your goal,
you are successful! Success is gained by
your efforts and the outcome has a direct
connection to your energy.
Secondly, success is acquired by what you do with what you
have been given. All of us were born with
different abilities, talents and skills. If you
maximize your strengths to the highest degree,
you will succeed. Success is "being
all that you can be."
Finally, success is yours today, don't wait
for tomorrow. What you do today sets your
course for tomorrow. Accomplish a
